Projects
Overview of some key school and personal projects I’ve led.
LinkPop
LinkPop is a small menu-based utility application that I developed using SwiftUI. The purpose of the app is to provide quick access to specific web URLs that are commonly used as part of a day-to-day workflow. For instance, I use it at my current company during bug scrubs, allowing me to quickly access bug databases filtered by specific upcoming target milestones or assigned engineers.

TroveTrak
TroveTrak is a mobile app designed to solve the problem of organizing and tracking art and hobby collections, along with their costs and potential sales prices and profits. It solves the problem of tax compliance for occasional sales of hobby items. It was developed during my graduate Agile Project Management class, as I demonstrated skills in agile project management and scrum best practices.
My work resulted in a request from the professor to share my project, who stated, "Would you be open to me sharing your work with the class as an excellent example?"

MBA Capstone Project (Spring 2025)
I led a team of four MBA students in a client consulting project with a pre-revenue startup in the fashion technology space. Over 15 weeks, we collaborated closely with the client to evaluate their cloud-based platform, which aimed to streamline sustainable fashion production for designers, students, and small retailers. Our work focused on three core areas: competitive positioning, user experience, and market readiness.
We conducted a gap analysis to benchmark the platform against industry competitors, identifying key feature enhancements to improve usability and differentiation. Through user journey mapping and exploratory testing, we pinpointed friction points in the platform’s workflows and provided actionable recommendations to align the product with the needs of its target audience. Additionally, we analyzed the client’s pricing and marketing strategy, proposing a tiered model to resolve conflicts between their vision for accessibility and premium service offerings.
At the conclusion of the engagement, we delivered a comprehensive report with strategic recommendations and an implementation roadmap. Our final presentation earned the Best Presentation award from a panel of judges, recognizing the clarity and impact of our findings and recommendations while working with a challenging client. This project deepened my skills in stakeholder management, market analysis, and strategic planning while reinforcing the importance of balancing innovation with practical execution.

Marketing Project (Spring 2025)
I led a team of four MBA students in a semester-long marketing project focused on conceptualizing Simply Kids, a hypothetical ready-to-drink juice line with functional benefits positioned as a Simply Beverages brand extension. We aimed to develop a market-viable product concept appealing to health-conscious parents while engaging children through taste and branding.
Throughout the 15-week project, we developed a comprehensive marketing strategy grounded in primary and secondary research. We surveyed our target market—parents of children aged 3 to 12—and discovered a strong interest in juice beverages with functional benefits like hydration and prebiotics. Our value proposition centered on simplicity, nutrition, and transparency, aligning with the core Simply brand.
We crafted a detailed go-to-market strategy, including a summer launch with an influencer campaign during peak family activity months and seasonal promotions highlighting hydration and immunity benefits.
The project culminated in a 20-page marketing report and executive pitch, significantly enhancing my consumer research, brand positioning, and integrated marketing strategy skills.

Level Up Club President (Fall 2024)
I worked closely with a Texas State professor to start up a new graduate student organization with the goal of providing avenues for students to gain professional certifications through partnerships with certification providers such as DataCamp. I helped build the initial roster of members to 15 graduate students. I tabled our organization at a Texas State event, did outreach to students, and developed our marketing materials. I've since stepped back from the president role to focus on completion of my final semester of the MBA program, but I still assist in creating event market materials (such as a recent flyer for an event in partnership with uCertify and the Associate Dean for Graduate Programs - McCoy College of Business).

Dutch Bros Strategic Report
In Fall 2023, I led a team of MBA students in developing a comprehensive 53-page report analyzing the operations of Dutch Bros Coffee. Our primary strategic recommendation was for Dutch Bros to introduce a protein boost product line to their menu. Interestingly, the following year (January 3, 2024), Dutch Bros launched a protein coffee option, allowing customers to add a protein boost through protein milk to any coffee. While this market development aligned with our recommendation, it was unrelated to our class project and served as an independent validation of our strategic insight.

Employee Motivation Training Guide
For my capstone project in the Applied Arts and Sciences degree program at Texas State, I led a team of four in the creation of a research-backed workbook designed for businesses to facilitate a 4-hour workshop aimed at enhancing employee motivation. This comprehensive workbook is divided into four key sections: Mental Health and Wellness, Employee Career Development (which I personally researched and developed), Workplace Culture and Transparency, and Leadership Styles and Engagement. Each section includes targeted exercises and reflective activities to help employees explore and improve their motivation, ultimately fostering a more engaged and productive workplace environment.
My work resulted in a recommendation letter from the course professor, who stated, "He led his team to deliver the most professional, impressive, and comprehensive plan I have seen, and I asked if they would let me share it with future classes. He possesses some of the most impressive writing and speaking skills I have observed in my time at Texas State."
